Age of water & wood is the top band in China. Their music includes Campus-folk, Classic, Rock and Free style. They care freedom, love and peace and put these stuffs in their music. So they are supposed to be the best humanism music group. Both of its two members (Lu gengxu and Miao jie) graduated from Tsinghua University. Lu graduated from architecture branch and Miao graduated from computer branch. Age of water &wood came into existence in 2001. At that time, Miao was not a member, Li jian(another singer) and Lu are in the band. Li jian who also graduated from Tsinghua university, has resigned from Age of water &wood just because of the different idea on music. Lu, who enrolled Tsinghua university in 1989, was the first college student of Yingkou Liaoning province. After graduation, he worked as a graphic designer with good salary. However he enjoy music and songwriting process more. He love to express his ideas with music note. Then he resign and dedicate to music. Such a talented artist, such a talent!
