The Information Office of Shanghai Municipal People's Government announced 11.04 that Shanghai Disneyland program had been approved by the central government.

The cooperative framework agreement of Shanghai Disneylandland program was signed between China and U.S. on the principle of mutual benefits at the beginning of 2009 after several years' negotiations. In accordance with the related procedure, the project application report was handed in to the relevant departments of state.
At present, the two sides of the project is in talk about the specific content and details of cooperation, and will jointly build the world-class Disneyland in the Shanghai Pudong New Area.
